What is a food supplement?

In Germany, this is regulated in the Food Supplements Ordinance (NemV). According to this, food supplements are foods that are intended to supplement the general diet. They contain concentrated nutrients or other substances with a nutritional or physiological effect. These substances may be contained alone or together. Food supplements are marketed in dosed form for ingestion in measured small quantities. Nutrients in this context are vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

What is the difference between our various Plus products?

Eisenblut Plus is a food supplement. The juice contains vitamins C, B1, B2, B6, B12 and the mineral iron. Acerola C-1000 Plus and Sea-Buckthorn C-500 Plus are fruit preparations and contain vitamin C.
