Rabenhorst Eisenblut for the supplementation of a balanced diet

Six different fruit juices form the basis of our delicious food supplement with iron. They are combined with honey and extracts from aromatic herbs. Iron is needed by the body for oxygen transport and is involved in metabolic functions as well as the normal functioning of the central nervous system.

If there is an iron deficiency, fatigue and other complaints can occur due to insufficient blood formation, a low number of red blood cells and the resulting reduced oxygen transport. You can prevent an iron deficiency by eating a balanced diet rich in iron. Rabenhorst Eisenblut juice supports the nutrient supply with iron as an officially approved food supplement.

Discover other juices with added iron in our range, such as our Red Grape juice with iron or our Well-being with Iron juice, which contains raspberries and cherries in addition to grapes. We have the right drop for every taste.

Frequently asked questions

What makes Eisenblut by Rabenhorst stand out from other supplements?

Rabenhorst Eisenblut juice not only provides the valuable mineral iron, but also important vitamins. Thus, the juice provides vitamin C to improve the absorption of iron and several B vitamins for the normal function of the energy metabolism.

Which foods affect iron absorption?

Whether the body can utilise the iron absorbed through food well depends on various factors. In most cases, the iron is bound to other substances in the food that can inhibit absorption. These include plant substances such as oxalic acid, phytate or phosphate, which accompany the iron from cereals, rice and pulses. Tannins, which are found in coffee, tea or red wine, are also known to inhibit iron absorption. Vitamin C, on the other hand, is one of the substances that favour iron absorption.

Is a food supplement with iron useful during pregnancy?

Food supplements with iron are useful during pregnancy, as the requirement in the body of the expectant mother and that of the child increases during growth. Iron is needed by the uterus and the placenta. Iron deficiency is correspondingly risky during pregnancy. However, it is not always possible to cover the comprehensive iron requirement during this time through a balanced diet, which is why Eisenblut juice can be a sensible dietary supplement.
