The beetroot is processed freshly harvested into a high-quality juice, refined with lemon juice and gently bottled at Rabenhorst. The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends including 5 portions of fruit and vegetables in the daily diet. A glass of juice can occasionally replace one portion per day.

One glass (200 ml) of our Beetroot juice covers 28 % of the reference amount of potassium. Our Beetroot juice is excellent to drink pure or with other juices as a mixed drink. It is also ideal for preparing sauces or refining salad dressings. You can also bake a juicy beetroot bread very well with the juice.

Shake the bottle before opening. Once opened, the juice should be kept sealed in the refrigerator and used within 5 days. We also recommend a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Please note that children should only be given this juice from the age of 4 up.

But beetroot is not only ideal for textiles, but also for dyeing food. A big advantage is that you can use natural dye and avoid chemical pollutants. However, it should be noted that you can only dye fabrics or food pink and not bright red as with chemical alternatives.

Beetroot is also rich in the mineral potassium, which helps to maintain normal blood pressure.

How to consume beetroot?

Beetroot can be used in many ways in the kitchen. However, as the vegetable loses many nutrients during prolonged cooking, we recommend eating beetroot raw, for example grated in a salad or as a vegetable carpaccio.
