Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between our Blueberry nectar and Blueberry pure juice?

Our forest blueberry pure juice from first pressing is a 100 % pure juice consisting exclusively of the original and fruit-own components of the processed berries. Our Blueberry nectar is also made from carefully selected forest blueberries and additionally supplemented with water and organic raw cane sugar. This way, the nectar tastes less sour and is perfect for enjoyable consumption.

What is the difference between wild and cultivated blueberries?

Cultivated blueberries - the ones you know from the supermarket - have little in common with wild blueberries. While cultivated blueberries grow up to 3 metres high because they have been bred for maximum yield, forest blueberries only grow about 40 cm tall. The occurrence of forest blueberries is correspondingly smaller and the harvest is smaller. Another difference between the varieties is the colour of the flesh. While cultivated blueberries have a light flesh, forest blueberries have a dark red flesh. The high proportion of pigment also contained in the flesh is what makes the forest blueberry so valuable.
