As pure and untreated as possible

Only the very best produce is used to ceate Rabenhorst juices

The natural amount of secondary plant compounds contained in the produce depends on the cultivation method used, the type of plant chosen and the ideal harvesting time. We attach a great deal of importance to the methods used to grow and cultivate the produce, and choose our suppliers according to a strict set of criteria. And it is set against this background that Rabenhorst employs a fully qualified agronomist to purchase the respective high-quality produce. Our expert offers farmers professional advice and fosters continuous dialogue with them. This intense cooperation with our contract farmers combined with long-term contracts enable us to purchase produce that meets the high-quality standards that we demand.

Farming the produce in a sustainable way has long been an important issue. Our company has had its own sustainable farming guidelines since the 1970s, which have been developed in cooperation with the University of Kassel over many years of research. The produce used for our products come from organic sources wherever possible. Any processing no matter how careful is kept to an absolute minimum. It is the untreated nature of the produce that gives our juices their pure and natural taste.

To ensure the premium quality of our juices, our guidelines for purchasing freshly-grown produce go far beyond those set down by legislators. Even in instances where we have to turn to foreign produce to satisfy our needs, we are experiencing increasing success in persuading farmers to adhere to our own farming and growing standards. Our quality standards are particularly strict in this area.
